This is a program grant and cannot be used to pay expenses such as phone bills, rent, etc. If selected as a recipient, the nonprofit must be prepared to show how they used the money (i.e. receipts).
If selected as a recipient of this mini-grant, the non-profit will sign an agreement detailing how the money will be used and agreeing to allow Fresh Era Board Members to view the product/service that the money was used for (i.e. photos, video, tour of facility/program).
If any arise, conflicts of interest will be discussed by the Fresh Era Board as a group and they will decide whether or not the conflict in question should disqualify the non-profit from participating in the min-grant competition.
We are seeking emerging leaders in their 20s and 30s that are looking for easy ways to volunteer, network and, most importantly, do good in the Detroit community.
